Manager - Strategic Growth

The opportunity  

Reporting to our Group Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this exciting, brand-new role will oversee the identification, planning and execution of growth opportunities that align with Kinetic's overall commercial strategic goals. Working on diverse commercial projects, ensuring executional excellence and measurable results, your analytical, strategic and operational skills will ensure the success of these complex projects which will drive commercial growth and operational efficiency.

Ideally you'll have a professional services or management consultant background, ready to take the step into a progressive organisation focused on growth. You'll be working directly with our Group CCO, and closely with Executive and Senior Leadership stakeholders. In this role, you will have ownership of initiatives and opportunities from end to end.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead and manage strategic commercial projects that align with the company’s overall goals, ensuring seamless execution.
• Collaborate with operational, finance and legal teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor, communicate and report regularly to relevant stakeholders with project updates
• Provide regular updates and performance insights to the Group CCO, MDs, Group CFO and Group CEO
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement in project execution.
• Analise market trends, competitor activities, and internal performance to inform decision-making.
• Drive alignment between commercial and operational teams to ensure strategic goals are met.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders which may include ELT and Board/Shareholder presentations
• Co-ordinate diverse and multi-functional project teams and deliver complex and sensitive projects
• Engage with stakeholders across the business to ensure issues are adequately addressed
• Work with functional areas of the business (e.g Assets, Network Planning, Procurement) where appropriate to achieve positive outcomes.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• A highly analytical, strategic and operational mindset
• Ability to influence and successfully negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong business acumen, with the capacity to interpret complex data sets and develop meaningful management actions.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgement with a highly effective communication style.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent attention to stakeholder needs and requirements.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continually changing work environment
• Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
