The opportunity:
As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of services originating from our depots within the Mackay region. You will be directly responsible for overseeing all operations staff allocated to the location, driving a culture of customer centricity, business performance, and profitability.

You’ll be involved in:
- Coordinate 24/7 operations including fleet management, maintenance, people management, and safety compliance.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including managing driver rosters and schedules.
- Enforce employee compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and government legislation.
- Manage all aspects of employee performance, discipline, and development.
- Implement safety systems and monitor compliance with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of a strong customer-focused culture within the region.
- Be available for operational responsibilities on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
The boxes you'll tick:
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Transport, or relevant industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience in operational leadership within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of operational systems and logistics functions.
- Ability to make quick decisions and exercise sound judgment.
- Valid MR License or above, Queensland Drivers Authority, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn internal systems.
