Senior Data Engineer/ Analyst Programmer

The opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Senior Dat Engineer/Analyst Programmer to work in our Data Analytics team.

Key accountabilities:

• Database creation and maintenance in Azure platform
• Master and reference data maintenance and improvement.
• Optimise, design and implement continuous process improvements for database management and performance management.
• Advanced experience in relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL), including not limited to database administration, data modelling, improving system operations, data quality and security management, documentation
• Experience in data orchestration in Azure ADF
• Advanced programming languages (such as, Python, C#, Java, PowerShell, Bash)
• Demonstrated recent experience in using Azure platform
• Experience in database migration from on-prem to cloud
• Experience in other services in Azure such as functions, logic apps, Synapse analytics
• Experience in non-relational databases
• Experience in IoT

Qualifications / Education / Experience required for this role:

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms
• 3 years’ experience in Azure platform and on-prem databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or IT
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong integrity with continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and agile environment
