Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

The opportunity:

To support our Devonport operations, we are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic that would like to join a tight-knit team and be a part of Kinetic's growth journey.

From general maintenance and repair tasks through to major engine component rebuilds, you’ll get a great variety of meaningful work across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting.

We offer secure and long term employment, a base rate of $41.08/h and penalties, various allowances, full supply of uniforms and PPE, and limitless career progression opportunities so there’s been no better time than now to join a leader in the bus industry!

The boxes you'll tick:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
• Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
• Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
