Bus Driver

Kinetic is seeking a professional MR Or HR driver based in the Bridport or Scottsdale area to perform a School run into Launceston 5 days per week.

The position involves a morning and afternoon school run and will include some work on the charter services we run in the middle of the day. 

The school run commences at Bridport and runs through Scottsdale , Lilydale and into Launceston in the morning and then back in the afternoon and would ideally suit someone based in Bridport or nearby locations. 

You don’t need to have experience as a bus driver; however, you will need to be an experienced heavy vehicle driver with great people skills, a good driving history, and able to effectively manage passengers whilst driving. 

You will be responsible for safely operating the designated service, and may also be required assist passengers on and off your vehicle.

The boxes you'll tick:

• Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
• A current TAS Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence (or above)
• A Tasmanian Public Passenger Vehicle licence
• Working with Vulnerable People authority
• Be able to pass a pre‐employment functional and drug & alcohol clearance
• Australian Work Rights
