Are you an experienced chef with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences? Do you enjoy the flexibility and excitement of working across multiple locations? Are you ready to explore regional and remote Queensland while working as a Chef?

About the Role:

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic chefs at all levels (Commis, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef) to join our growing team. As part of this role, you will be required to travel regularly to our venues across Queensland and Thursday Island. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of kitchens and experience the unique culinary environments across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in a variety of styles and settings.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with kitchen teams across different locations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adapt to the specific needs of each venue and clientele.
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently when required.
  • Foster a positive and professional working environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef (all levels welcome to apply) must have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
  • Ability to work across a range of cuisines and kitchen environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different venues across Regional and Rural Queensland.
  • Valid food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
