About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed person to join the Building Services team as an Officer – Building Services, based in our Leederville office. This role involves processing all types of building notifications, non-standard water and sewer connections and provides technical support to the Building Services team.

About you:

There are a few things we would like to see in your CV;

  • Western Australian Certificate of Education or equivalent.
  • Experience in a technically orientated customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of the processes and regulatory requirements relating to the provision of water related infrastructure to the building and development industry.
  • Well developed customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated computing skills and knowledge of Microsoft suite of systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume work environment.
  • Self motivated with high degree of initiative.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include but not limited to:

  • Processing multi-faceted and complex service connection applications and coordinates with stakeholders.
  • Being a point of contact and liaison between external customers and Service Delivery for complaints
  • Respond to enquiries relating to the Corporation’s policies and technical requirements concerning developments and refers contentious matters.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to support the Service Buildings Process.
  • Support the development, implementation and ongoing review of Building Services procedures, work instructions and ancillary documents.
