About the role:

We have an exciting 6 month fixed term opportunity for an Advisor - Procurement Systems Master Data, to join our Procurement systems team. In this role, you will manage and maintain system data for Water Corporation suppliers. You will also provide expert advice to stakeholders to elicit accurate reporting and data collection, establishing controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and enable agile continuous improvement.

About you:

There are a few things we would like to see in your CV;

  • Substantial experience in the use of SAP ERP systems and eProcurement applications, (e.g. SRM, Ariba) 
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of contemporary Procurement management theory and practice, including good understanding of electronic trading applications and processes.  
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of record keeping practices and the need for accurate and up to date master Data. 
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge to contribute to change initiatives, support application implementation and agile improvement methods to deliver organisational outcomes including: 
  • o  process modelling. 
  • o  functional specifications delivery   
  • o  system integration testing

Some of the things you’ll be doing include but not limited to:

  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to outline business problems, gather requirements and define appropriate solutions. 
  • Develop business requirements and prepare functional specifications for system and process improvements. 
  • Analyse and evaluate system and process change proposals and design specifications. 
  • Undertake testing of system enhancements and automation applications to ensure that the required outcomes are achieved.  
  • Manage the establishment and maintenance of suppliers, their data, information, and systems access within Water Corporation systems to enable electronic trading with Water Corporation. 
  • Embed and maintain data integrity through regular scheduled reviews and continuous validation. 
  • Assist with development of business analytics, reporting, visualisation, business process automation and related system and database interface support and enablement. 
  • Monitor and assist with the management of data, as well as maintaining reference and master data.
