We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Civil Operator. This position is based in Narrogin and the successful candidate will be part of a great team responsible for water quality such as sampling and chlorine changes as well as other water quality requirement within the Great Southern Region.

What the role will involve:

·    Positive Customer interaction

·    Completing scheduled work to time and quality standards.

·    Working with other parties including contractors and other utilities in the delivery of operations and maintenance requirements.

·    Carrying out operations and maintenance tasks using specialist tools, plant and equipment supplied for such activity.

·    Actively participating in continuous improvements in safety

·    Participation in an active stand by roster 1 in 4 weeks.

Key skills and experience:

·    Preferred water quality sampling experience

·    Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence

·    Background associated industries including plumbing and water systems an advantage

·    Effective communication and interpersonal skills

·    Ability to work afterhours and participate on a standby roster

·    Willingness to complete Certificate III Water Industry Operations and all provided training.
