What the role will involve:
- Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
- Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
- Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
- Ability to work after hours and participate on a standby roster
Key skills and experience:
- Certificate 2 or 3 National Water Package or willingness to work towards
- Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required/provided
- Western Australian MR or higher-Class Drivers Licence
- Current Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets
- Experience in water supply and wastewater systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Leave loading of 17.5% on annual leave of 4 weeks
