About the role

We have a fixed term opportunity until November 2025 for an Instrumentation Technician / Electrician to operate and maintain dam monitoring stations (hydraulic and geotechnical monitoring). This position, based in our Shenton Park office, and offers the exciting opportunity to travel across different regions of Western Australia.

What the role will involve

  • Investigate and report faults on instruments and arrange corrective action as required
  • Carry out simple fault rectification on site
  • Plan equipment, parts and consumables required for successful completion of scheduled maintenance work on our assets
  • Carry out data analysis and prepare technical reports
  • Work as One with the Technical Advisor to assist in the investigation of instrumentation faults on dam sites

Key skills and experience

You’ll have a trade level qualification in an electronic, instrumentation or electrical related trade discipline. Experience with data loggers and telemetry systems is highly valued. Experience in installation, commissioning, operation or maintenance of geotechnical and dam surveillance monitoring stations is advantageous but not essential.
