As the Metering Services Manager, you will lead and manage the Water Corporation’s meter reading and renewals program, water efficiency monitoring program and associated customer field processes throughout Western Australia. 

Displaying first-class leadership to our people, you will ensure that the Section has the capability to deliver the required business outcomes now and into the future, you are a strategic thinker with a track record in delivering against strategy.

Working closely with your key stakeholders, customers, and the community, you’ll ensure that the work we are doing is aligned to their expectations while driving a strong safety culture.

 

What you’ll do

  • Build and lead effective state-wide teams, team communication processes, and team commitment to continuous development and improvement while supporting business and cultural change initiatives
  • Optimise the management, development and deployment of people across the state to ensure Metering Services has the capability to deliver required business outcomes in line with the Corporation’s workforce plan
  • Lead and manage the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures for the management of state-wide meter reading, water efficiency monitoring and customer related field related processes
  • Enhance the performance of key corporate customer related business processes through implementation of best practice systems and reporting structures to enable improved customer focus and service delivery


Your skills and experience

  • Degree level qualification combined with experience in a large commercially focussed state -wide organisation providing customer related services in an operational environment
  • An inspiring leader with a track record of improving workplace Safety, process & culture in am Operational environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer focussed strategy, process improvements and change management
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience in building & enhancing Stakeholder relationships & finding better solutions to meet customer and stakeholder needs
  • Experience in contract management and negotiation desirable
