About your role
As a key member of the Learning and Leadership team, you'll be at the forefront of designing, evolving, and implementing our learning footprint for the Customer portfolio. With your strong instructional design skills, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to craft, develop, and deliver dynamic and engaging learning programs that build the capability of our people.
What your role will involve:
- Design, develop and or procure and facilitate practical, innovative, and engaging learning solutions (standard and bespoke) that align with Water Corporation strategic goals and build the knowledge and capability of our workforce.
- Safeguard the integrity of Water Corporation learning solutions by keeping abreast of current research, trends and techniques; and by producing high quality professional learning materials.
- Identify and communicate issues/themes emerging in L&D; related data and work context, partnering with relevant stakeholder to support resolution.
- Manage L&D Panels to ensure on-going alignment of services and ensure best fit when sourcing from the L&D Panel
- Coordinate the end-to-end process of e-learning and multimedia learning products to ensure a consistent product that align to the learning governance requirements (messaging and legislative requirements)
- Provide consultancy services and advice on all matters related to learning and development.
- Support Relationship Managers and Business Managers through designing and facilitating programs or brokering L&D Services and support to the business.
- Comply with relevant and legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy and ethical standards.
Key skills and experience
- You’ll have a Tertiary qualification (i.e. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment)
- You will have substantial experience in providing learning and development tools and programs within a large multidiscipline organisation.
- You will have relevant experience with initiating, implementing and effectively managing programs/projects.
- You will have relevant experience with vocational training system (competency-based training and assessment and national training packages)
- You will have relevant experience or applicable knowledge in the needs analysis, instructional design, course development, implementation, delivery and facilitation, assessment, and evaluation of learning programs, including a mix of learning delivery methodologies.
- You will have relevant experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning products.
- You will ideally have demonstrated experience supporting an operational workforce with corporate learning.
- You will ideally have demonstrated experience supporting a customer facing and/or contact centre workforce with technical skilling.
