About the role
Our Events team is a passionate group of professionals that strive to create meaningful and engaging events for our members, customers and clients. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator to help us deliver premium events throughout the year. This is a hands-on role responsible for the concept development, marketing activity, sponsorship activation and coordination and delivery of our events.
About you
We are looking for a self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and think on their feet. You have at least five years’ experience in events management, ideally with a focus on business to business and corporate events as well as an understanding of marketing. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to foster key internal and external relationships with a number of stakeholders. You will also have strong administration skills, superior accuracy and attention to detail as well as experience working to and meeting budgets and tight deadlines. You will be a team player but also have the ability to work independently as required. Finally, you will have a working familiarity with Windows and the MS suite, databases, and a demonstrated understanding of communications technology.
