Senior Software Developer

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled software developer to join our team! You'll work on creating and maintaining software solutions within an Azure environment, utilizing your extensive knowledge of Azure CI/CD capabilities and Integration Services. Experience with Microsoft products like D365 is a plus.

Emphasis on code quality, security, and maintaining the platform is essential in this role.

What you'll be doing

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and documentation of new or existing applications including upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Lead the development of integrations utilizing Azure Integration Services best practices
• Provide support and defect triage capabilities across integrations with varied application touchpoints
• Mentor a dynamic development team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive improvement in the quality of the team’s technical output
• Communicate complex concepts regarding solution scope and deliverables
• Prioritize the documentation of solutions to ensure IP retention and reduce key person risk

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• A problem-solving mindset focused on constant improvement
• Experience developing software with D365, Azure Integration Services, and/or C#.NET
• Understanding of HTTP, REST, OAUTH, JSON, and JSON
• Experience with ARM templates
• Experience managing source code with Git or a similar toolset.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Eligibility to work in NZ for at least two years
