About the Role:

As the Application Support Team Lead, you will be part of an Agile environment, leading a team of Application Support Analysts who support and maintain our applications that include our student management systems (SMS), learning management systems (LMS) and CRM Systems among other business applications.

This is a hybrid role that combines strong leadership with hands-on technical expertise, with approximately 60% of your time dedicated to people management and 40% to technical responsibilities.

As a Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for team development, performance management, and ensuring the team meets its service delivery goals. On the technical front, this role will facilitate by working with internal support team members and vendors to resolve problems that cause repeat support requests. 

 

About you:

You be an Application Support professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at balancing leadership responsibilities with technical challenges, and is passionate about delivering exceptional application support while empowering their team to succeed.

You will have a strong background in Application Support as well as having recent experience with lead/people management responsibilities.

 

Key Requirements include:

  • Recent experience leading an Application Support team with proven people leadership and management skills
  • Strong technical background working in an application support role
  • Good understanding and experience working with LMS, SMS, and/or CRM's
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to work on concurrent tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative team approach and positive can-do attitude.
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Education sector experience with an understanding of educational processes and compliance is highly advantageous
