With careers in Health Care and Social Assistance projected to employ more than 30% of all new workers in Queensland by 2025-2026, we are working with schools across Queensland preparing young people for rewarding careers in this sector. 

Connect ‘n’ Grow are a registered training organisation that specialise in Health and Social Assistance, we are passionate about what we offer and the important work we do to help grow the future workforce of Health Care and Social Assistance professionals.

The VET in schools Relationships officer is a new role due to the projected growth in 2025. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Based from Windsor - Brisbane covering South East Queensland, with some travel into regional areas, meet with Principals, VET Coordinators and Teaching Staff to promote our VET in school programs
  • Develop a strategic prospecting plan which includes appointment setting, email marketing and cold calling 
  • Participate in school events, parent/teacher information evenings, school assemblies and Career expos 
  • Manage the onboarding communication and relationship with new schools

Who we are looking for

  • Someone that is passionate about the difference that education, specifically health education can make 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and able to pivot as business demands change 
  • Ability to work independently and with autonomy, whilst being part of the School Relationships team 
  • Exceptional communication and professional approach being able to adjust your style
  • Ability to travel and work outside of normal hours from time to time, we offer flexibility and work life balance

Must haves

  • Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
  • Working with Children Blue card or ability to gain 
  • Previous experience in the VET sector RTO/GTO/AASN or QLD Secondary school desirable
