About the role

Monarch Institute is growing, and we’re looking for two passionate, experienced Trainer & Assessors to join our dynamic Accounting and Bookkeeping team. This is a permanent, full-time remote role — with the flexibility to work part-time, from anywhere in Australia.

In this role, you will deliver and support nationally recognised qualifications, including:

  • FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting
  • FNS50422 Diploma of Payroll Services
  • FNS60222 Advanced Diploma of Accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to students via phone, email, teams sessions and where required Teams classroom sessions.
  • Grade student work, provide feedback, and complete documentation in line with Monarch policies.
  • Actively promote equal access especially in relation to physical impairments, learning disabilities or English language or numeracy difficulties.
  • Contribute to course improvements and participate in validation and moderation processes.
  • Support quality assurance activities and compliance with audits and internal procedures.
  • Maintain high professional standards in line with RTO regulations and funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and attend meetings to support course development and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor)
  • AQF 5+ qualification in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Current industry experience in the accounting/bookkeeping or payroll field
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, CRM systems like Salesforce, learning management systems (LMS), and other educational tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
