About the role:  

In the role of ER Specialist, you will report to the HR Director and support our AUS managers by providing subject matter expert advice on a broad range of employment relations matters, including: 

  • Advising on, and managing ER matters including disciplinary processes, performance management, and change processes 
  • Manage investigations, personal grievances, and attend external mediations  
  • Work closely with HR business partner, and HR director for various cases 
  • Ensure business compliance with Group policies and employment legislation, including the identification and mitigation of risk and minimisation of financial, legal, and PR costs to the business. 

About you:  

Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and be currently in a role dedicated to Employment relations activities. You will need to have a solid understanding of ER processes including misconduct, poor performance, absenteeism, change management and the investigation and resolution of complaints and other grievances, and be able to work autonomously with Employment Relations cases.  

Your exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships will be the key to your success! You’re a self-motivated, energetic, and friendly team player with excellent organisational and time management skills.  

You must be critical thinker and a keen problem solver with the ability to influence your stakeholders.
