About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ER Specialist to join our dynamic team, reporting to the HR Director. In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to expert for our Australian managers, providing invaluable subject matter expertise and advice on a diverse range of employment relations matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on and managing various ER matters, such as disciplinary actions, performance management, workplace investigation and organisational change processes.
- Collaborating closely with the HR Business Partner and HR Director on complex cases.
- Reporting on case trends and areas for continuous improvement, including training and developing managers on employment matters.
- Ensuring compliance with Group policies and Australian employment legislation, while identifying and mitigating risks.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a true ER Specialist with extensive employment relations experience and a solid knowledge of national/state employment law, award interpretation and application. You should possess:
- Expertise: A deep understanding of ER processes, including misconduct, performance issues, absenteeism, change management, and the investigation and resolution of grievances. You should be capable of handling cases autonomously.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills that facilitate effective and collaborative relationships.
- Team Player: Energetic, friendly, and self-motivated with outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
- Critical Thinking: Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
