We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Campaigns Specialist (Direct Communications) to join our team. This brand-new role is designed to streamline direct communications with prospective students from lead through to enrolment. The successful candidate will work closely with our campaign specialists, marketing automation team, conversion team, and content team to develop and implement strategies that optimize our communication efforts and support the University’s domestic and international student enrolment targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders on leveraging integrated, targeted and tailored direct communication campaigns
  • Offering specialist advice on engaging and nurturing prospective students
  • Creating integrated communication plans
  • Establishing a data acquisition plan to capture leads and gather relevant information
  • Campaign development and implementation
  • Benchmarking, reporting and continuous improvement

This continuing position is full time at a HEW 7 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.

About the Unit  

Future Students, Communications and Engagement (FSCE) leads domestic student recruitment and marketing strategies and international recruitment marketing, drives engagement and storytelling to build the University’s brand and manage its reputation, and helps nurture a sense of pride amongst the University’s community. Working in partnership with Colleges and Divisions, FSCE participates in key decision making and priority setting related to program development, domestic and international student recruitment, high school outreach, and campaign develop.

  1. A degree with a least four year’s subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in lead nurture, email marketing or direct communications; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing direct communication campaigns across various mediums; applying data insights, student journey mapping, segmentation, and benchmarking to inform campaigns.
  3. Working knowledge of how to use digital marketing metrics, data analytics, monitoring suites and dashboards to inform campaign development and optimisation.
  4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the capacity to build relationships and an inter-disciplinary way of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure objectives are achieved.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present project plans, reports, and findings to stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines, priorities and stakeholder demands
