The role 

This role is based at NUspace, our University's landmark education precinct in the heart of Newcastle's CBD (Awabakal and Worimi land). This ‘vertical’ campus offers the latest in technology and innovation in teaching and learning, allowing you to deliver a world-class student experience. 

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in management at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Develop innovative course materials, integrating Work Integrated Learning and Authentic Assessment components.
  • Conduct research in management, aiming for national and international recognition.
  • Build industry connections to support innovative research, knowledge exchange, work-integrated learning and graduate employment opportunities.
  • Co-supervise PhD students and contribute to the academic community through service and leadership.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at NUspace (Awabakal and Worimi land). 


How will you become part of our community?  

  • PhD in management or a related area
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver quality teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels. 
  • A research record of high-quality publications, including international and national research collaborations, and an ability to achieve national recognition in your research area.
  • Skills in active supervision of honours, masters and/or Higher Degree by Research postgraduate research projects.
  •  Collaborative and team-oriented, willing to work with colleagues and industry partners to advance the discipline.

The remuneration for this position is Level B $112,717 - $133,853 + 17% superannuation.
