Base Salary: $138,079 - $159,217 + 17% superannuation and leave loading

Position: Full-Time or Part-Time (from 0.4 FTE) continuing position

Location: Newcastle (Callaghan) or Central Coast (Gosford) Campuses

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead the delivery of teaching using a hybrid approach into the Bachelor of Nursing program and our online postgraduate program offerings. You will also contribute to growing the research profile of the nursing discipline at a local, national and international level.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Nursing or professional equivalent.
  • Hold current registration, as a Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions, notations or condition.
  • Demonstrate recent ability to achieve teaching quality as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate in response to feedback.
  • Demonstrate recent leadership in learning and teaching activities, including undertake program convening and course coordination, having a central role in course and curriculum development, and peer mentoring at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
  • Demonstrate recent capacity for independent research funding success; contributing as a chief investigator including collaborations which create new insights and opportunities for more junior researchers
  • Display skills in active and effective record of research supervision.
