We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Administration Officer to provide essential support to our procurement team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting/editing and formatting of procurement documents
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Assisting and responding to internal and external enquiries and communications
  • Compliance verification of supplier submissions
  • Extracting data for reporting and analysis
  • Record Management
  • Contributing to process improvement
  • Maintaining and reporting on procurement statistics and risk management activities

This continuing position is full/part time at a HEW 4 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.

  1. Proven experience as an administrative officer, procurement assistant, or similar role.
  2. Demonstrated experience in document creation, formatting and templating.
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  4. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholder engagement
  5. Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  6. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

  1. Experience with Technology One Finance system or similar enterprise resourcing platform accounting system (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
  2. Familiarity with procurement processes and document management.
