The College of Engineering, Science, and Environment is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead strategic projects that advance our college’s goals and contribute to exceptional academic and operational outcomes. This role is central to coordinating and implementing project initiatives and improvements that streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and ensure seamless project execution across multiple workstreams.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering key initiatives aligned with our college's strategic plans. You'll provide expert project management guidance, support, and oversight across various projects, ensuring resources are optimized, timelines met, and milestones achieved. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute accurate project plans, generate performance reports, and implement governance frameworks for tracking and continuous improvement.

This continuing position is full time at a HEW 7 Higher Education Level located at Callaghan Campus.

- Project management expertise with demonstrated capacity in planning, delivering and evaluating outcomes to schedule.
- Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to lead and inspire a team of professional staff to deliver exceptional performance and outcomes.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
