Locally born, our coffee brands are amongst the regions most respected, most iconic, most loved and most consumed. Eight brands make up the portfolio of UCC in Australia and New Zealand, some of these include Mocopan, Espresso Mechanics, Toby’s Estate, Robert Harris, L’affare and Atomic Coffee Roasters.

Why join us as our P&C Advisor?

Step into an exciting new role as our P&C Advisor, one that is as robust and versatile as the finest espresso shot. In essence, you're not just a piece in our puzzle; you're the hand that lifts our brand higher. Your blend of responsibilities will be varied - from handling first-line HR inquiries, bolstering our business leaders, to managing gender equality data and workers' compensation.

Your work will directly impact the wellbeing and productivity of our people. Whether it's enhancing employee engagement, advocating for diversity and inclusion, or untangling the complexities of workplace law, your role will be pivotal to our mission of cultivating a positive and supportive work environment.

What’s on offer?

Joining a coffee business like UCC provides exciting learning opportunities that allow you to delve into the world of coffee, expand your knowledge, and immerse yourself in the rich heritage and expertise associated with our network. You'll have a flexible working arrangement that allows you to balance your work between our offices, cafés, and from the comfort of your home. We also support your self-care by offering recharge leave, an initiative that provides our team 5 additional days off annually to recharge in whatever way you like, in support of your personal and professional growth.

Also, if you’re after career opportunity and progression, you’re in luck! You’ll also get the chance to grow under the mentorship of a People and Culture leader who is committed to elevating your skills in HR.

About you:

As a natural connector, you're known for your exceptional skill in relationship-building and your ability to adeptly navigate the complexities of the HR landscape with adaptability and resilience. Your ambition and eagerness to learn are palpable, and your peers appreciate your genuine interest in harnessing HR as a strategic business tool.

With a few years of either generalist or specialist HR experience, you've armed yourself with a robust toolbox of skills. You've shown your ability in interpreting and applying policies, safeguarding confidential information, and providing relatable, timely advice on people matters.

While we value a qualification in HR or business, we equally appreciate hands-on experience and practical knowledge in the field. If you can demonstrate a record of relevant experience, regardless of whether you hold a formal qualification, we welcome your application.
