About the role:
As our Maintenance Fitter, you will bring a passion for solving mechanical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. With expertise in installations, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance, you excel at diagnosing equipment breakdowns and providing practical solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll handle reactive and preventative maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and keep accurate maintenance records. You’ll also support continuous improvement projects and assist with upgrades. This hands-on role offers the chance to make a real impact!
This is a hands-on role with an afternoon shift schedule, from 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
About you:
As our Maintenance Fitter, you will be essential to keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day duties include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and maintaining detailed records of activities.
- Managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs.
- Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications to meet production demands.
