Job Summary:

As the Foreman, you will be integral to the daily management and supervision of projects on site. Your role will involve leading a team of skilled workers, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and within the constraints of the budget and schedule. Your expertise will be vital in upholding the highest standards of quality and safety on site.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct, and manage the daily activities of the electrical crew on-site to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Coordinate with your supervisor, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure timely and effective project execution
  • Material ordering, management, and organization
  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure proper documentation during the project (as-builts and redlines)
  • Enforce safety measures to comply with WorkSafe BC regulations
  • Ensure all electrical work meets our high standard of quality and complies with project specifications, codes, and regulations

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of electrical experience as a foreman in a commercial environment
  • 5+ years of experience in a construction environment 
  • Valid Red Seal accreditation
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to safety, attitude for success and working toward having a mix of technical skills, work experience and academic skill
  • Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office an asset
  • Able to work independently (with and without supervision) with good time management
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions, and your own personal hand tools (all task specific power tools and PPE will be provided)

 

Salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience
