Your opportunity:
As our valued Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing Level 2 support for TPG’s on-premise Customer Cloud Infrastructure platforms. You’ll draw on your deep understanding of cloud infrastructure environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud services to generate high-level and detailed designs, and provide operational support for complex fault investigations.
You'll make an impact by:
- Providing Level 2 technical support for on-premises customer cloud infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud services.
- Monitoring and maintaining the health of the on-premises customer cloud infrastructure, including capacity management, performance tuning, and fault management and reporting.
- Handling the provisioning of new services to customers, monitoring and fault management of infrastructure devices with key stakeholders.
- Leading and performing trials and lab tests to validate technology solutions.
- Interacting with pre-sales and other team members to understand project requirements from various stakeholders and liaising with vendors to provide technical solutions.
What you’ll bring:
- Information Technology and/or demonstrated work experience with cloud infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and work with limited supervision.
- Strong customer focus, both internally and externally, in execution of accountabilities.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience using operating systems such as Windows/Unix and various roles on the operating system (AD/File/DHCP/DNS).
- Knowledge of Citrix VDI products and Hypervisor Technologies (preferably vCenter/ESXi, HyperV).
- Experience with storage arrays and associated products (NetApp/Dell EMC).
- Familiarity with monitoring systems (PRTG/Nagios) and ticketing systems (JIRA).
