Your opportunity:

The People Experience Manager is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, support, advice and coaching to leaders in relation to all Human Resource matters, and to provide effective, consistent, timely and accurate support to our people, leaders and People Experience colleagues. The topics may include but are not limited to employee engagement, performance, wellbeing, grievance processes, reward and recognition and employee relations matters. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Organisational Effectiveness & Design
  • In partnership with Senior PE colleagues responsible for developing, providing feedback and delivering people plans for the business area ensuring ongoing alignment to divisional strategic objectives and employee engagement survey results.
  • Work with Senior PE colleagues to diagnose, plan and implement fit for purpose organisational design and provide knowledge, tools and support to leaders.
  • Ensure organisation clarity & alignment across role profiles, role titles and organisation charts.
  • Develop relationships with leaders across their areas to gain commercial understanding of business and people requirements.
  • Leadership & Development
  • Implement capability and development strategies with PE colleagues.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to leaders for continuous improvement.
  • Support the facilitation of PE training programs, including compliance and effective practices.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Provide expertise in PE policies, practices, and employee relations.
  • Coach line managers on effective practices and compliance.
  • Oversee operational PE, ensuring high-quality practices.
  • Advise leaders on people-related issues and review related paperwork.
  • Handle general PE queries and support remuneration projects.
  • Employee Relations & Grievance
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues and grievances.
  • Employee Engagement
  • Evaluate survey data and address engagement issues.
  • Ensure active participation in surveys and support leaders in improving engagement

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven commercial acumen with detailed understanding of functional area.
  • Significant Employee Relations experience including working with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and managing complex case.
  • Highly team orientated with exceptional coaching skills
  • Ability to influence cross divisionally and strong relationship management
  • Understanding and proven capability of working within an environment of rapid operational and cultural change.
  • Strong communicator at all levels of the organisation with the ability to form trusted relationships across the organisation.
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional track record in coaching leaders and advising senior leaders.
