Your opportunity:
As our valued IoT Commerical and Logisitics Manager you will play a vital role working as part of our Internet of Things Centre of Excellence, continuously champions their customers’ operational and strategic growth requirements working collaboratively with multiple internal teams across the TPG Telecom business to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively.
You'll make impact by:
- IoT customer order management (SIMs and hardware)
- Maintain aggregated demand forecasts for SIMs and hardware, based on new sales and customer growth projections
- Manage onboarding of new suppliers - supported by TPG Procurement team – and supplier performance
- Place orders with suppliers to maintain required stock levels or fulfil customer orders direct from supplier.
- Co-ordinate the receipt, storage and distribution of SIMs and Hardware; monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit
- Set up and maintain product SKUs in Inventory application, work with logistics team to ensure warehouse stocks are appropriately setup and managed
- Perform periodic stock inventory audits, ensure stock levels accurately maintained in systems
- Manage end to end fulfilment of orders to customers (includes direct liaison with supplier/warehouse and customer contacts, validating/QA of service provisioning/activation and billing)
- Manage customer escalations and expedited service order requests with suppliers / warehouse logistics teams
- Manage financial reconciliation for customer and supply orders following TPG Procure to Pay processes / relevant financial policies
- Support Enterprise Customer Account and Service Managers with service reporting inputs (e.g. delivery cycle times, SLA performance)
- Identify and drive service / cross-functional process improvement and transformation initiatives
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory management and logistics, preferably in the
- telecommunications industry (consumer or enterprise)
- Proven relationship management skills within customer and supply chain management environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g. Oracle), Microsoft 365 Office suite and SaaS Ticket management applications
- A skill to build productive long-term working relationships with customers, suppliers and peers alike.
- Exposure or participation in business change/business process improvement. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Ideally, you will also have:
- Broad knowledge of telecommunications products and services and supporting technologies.
- A Strong Team-player style, forward looking with a holistic approach.
- Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills (written and oral).
- Emotional resilience, including the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a busy operational environment
