Your opportunity:

As our valued Performance and Automation Lead, you will play a vital role leading and managing the testing team in the execution of functional, non-functional testing and customer readiness validation (customer journey experience, look and feel, cross browser and device) for all changes delivered for TPG Websites and Mobile Application(s) within budget and schedule. You’ll draw on your direct management experience to ensure testing targets are achieves and standards are kept.

You'll make impact by:

• Overall accountability of the TPG performance testing and automation framework.
• Maintain and manage automation and performance testing tools.
• Develop and lead the rollout of technical improvements across testing domains to promote the use of industry automation and performance best patterns and practices.
• Research, investigate, socialize, and implement emerging technologies via internal innovation of our automation and performance functions.
• Responsible for commercial agreements relating to TPG automation and performance testing tools.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to the TPG Test Practice
• Develop and implement a roadmap of technical improvement in automation and performance testing initiatives across testing domains.
• Collaborate with testing vendor/s to maintain and expand test automation and performance frameworks.

What you’ll bring:

• 3 yrs + Experience in leading/managing a team
• 10 yrs + Experience in Testing/QA
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with leading or delivering solutions to an acceptable level of quality within complex engagements on time, consistently meeting and ideally exceeding expectations.
• Collect and assess metrics for budgets, schedules, KPIs, SLAs and contractual goals.
• Report progress regularly against projects/program requirements, proactively raising scope, schedule or budget issues with PM.
• Experienced in a range of tools to suit the role (e.g. requirement, test or defect management, automaton, CI/CD or non-functional testing tools).
• Defines and reviews Test Strategies, Vendor Estimates, test analysis and design practices for the team, making improvement suggestions and moderating standards where necessary.
• Highly desirable previous experience working within the telecommunication industry with knowledge of telecommunication technologies, processes and support systems.
• Interest in acquiring new technical knowledge and becoming an SME in new technologies.
• Ability to adapt quickly self-starts, work effectively with multiple groups, and follow issues through to resolution.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with both suppliers and colleagues.
