Your opportunity:

As our valued Senior Marketing Manager - Postpaid, you will lead the member engagement strategy and drive a best-in-class customer experience across the postpaid customer lifecycle. This role is responsible for optimising customer engagement, enhancing value through innovative marketing initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You'll make impact by:

Leading a team of 4 Marketing Managers, you will champion marketing best practices, mentor emerging talent, and execute initiatives that elevate customer retention and growth. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, deep customer focus, and expertise in lifecycle marketing to drive meaningful connections between customers and the postpaid product suite.

Customer Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing:

  • Develop and execute a member engagement strategy that enhances customer experience across key lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Optimise customer communications and marketing programs to improve engagement, reduce churn, and maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Use data-driven insights to personalise experiences and create relevant, timely, and engaging interactions.
  • Lead marketing strategies that elevate value for postpaid customers, incorporating trade-in programs, device care, accessory attachment, and other value-add initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Brand, Acquisition, Channels, and Paid Media teams to align messaging, campaign execution, and customer touchpoints.
  • Partner with Product teams to leverage the postpaid product suite and drive marketing-led engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Martech, Data Science and Insights teams to ensure targeted, personalised, and automated customer interactions.
  • Support the evolution of the customer engagement framework, ensuring initiatives are insight-led and customer-first.

Team Leadership & Marketing Excellence:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Marketing Managers, providing guidance on lifecycle marketing, campaign execution, and best practices.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Champion marketing best practices and ensure all programs align with brand positioning and business objectives.
  • Drive a test-and-learn approach, leveraging insights to continuously refine and enhance marketing performance.

Performance & Insights:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer engagement, retention, growth and incremental value generation.
  • Leverage customer analytics to refine engagement strategies and optimise marketing effectiveness.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, shaping the future direction of postpaid customer engagement.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience leading a marketing team with a proven track record in customer engagement, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as a strategic thinker who can balance commercial outcomes with a customer-first approach.
  • Strong understanding of postpaid, telco, or subscription-based industries with a passion for optimising customer experience.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into action and optimise performance.
  • Experience leading and mentoring marketing teams, with a focus on developing talent and driving excellence.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills and an independent thinker.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
