About the position

Ceramic Artisans is currently looking for a Full Time Ceramist/Technician to join our fast paced Lab in the heart of Chatswood.

Your core focus areas for this role include working with other Ceramic Artisans technicians to provide a smooth lab production process, ensuring work is completed to schedule, and maintaining a high-quality of product for clients. 

We are a boutique, full-service dental laboratory based in Chatswood. We are digitally focused with the latest milling, printing and scanning technologies.

We are very accessible to all forms of public transport. We are conveniently located near St Leonards train station, close to local bus routes and right next door to the new Metro train station about to open in Chatswood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, and implants, using CAD/CAM technology.
  • Extensive knowledge of Exocad preferred.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental technicians to ensure precise and accurate restorations.
  • Operate and maintain digital dental equipment and software.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet our high standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in digital dentistry and incorporate new techniques into your work.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 3+ years working as a Dental Ceramist (highly regarded) 
  • Ability to layer ceramic materials on various dental substrates (Emax, Zirconia, PFM, veneers, implants) for superior aesthetics and function
  • You must be able to work in a team environment, have excellent communication skills and be dedicated to the pursuit of excellence with a critical eye for precision and detail
  • You must be able to work unsupervised and be involved in the direct treatment planning and design of cases together with staff and dentists
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail, maintaining consistent, high-quality ceramic build-up throughout the process
