BUTCHER - FULL TIME OR PART TIME
Melaleuka Farm Merchants has a unique opportunity for a qualified butcher. Our philosophy is to provide a true farm-to-table experience for our customers in our venues, off-site (e.g. Farmers Markets) and online.
Our butchery is based in Byford, just down the road from our farm in North Dandalup. Our cattle breeding program is centred around our registered Akaushi (Red Wagyu) herd which allows us to produce high quality, marbled beef from both grain-finished and grass-fed cattle with superior, consistent flavour.
Our Melaleuka Farm butchers get the opportunity to personally experience how changes to the genetic program and finishing regimes of the cattle can directly impact the characteristics of the beef coming through for our customers.

What to bring to the role:
- Trade qualification or a willingness to work toward the same;
- Reliability, a high standard of presentation and a good attitude toward the team and the role;
- A strong work ethic and the physical capability to fulfil the role;
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and as part of team
Desirable:
- Portion Control experiences would be advantageous.
- Gourmet experience would be an advantageous.
