C.Y. O’Connor Village Pub and The Steak House are on the hunt for an experienced chef, looking to continue their development within a fun & unique working environment.
C.Y. O’Connor Village Precinct is part of the growing family-owned & operated business Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG) which operates multiple venues in Western Australia. The heart of our business is our own Melaleuka Farm (in North Dandalup) which produces beef for our venues located across Perth and the Great Southern.
You will be working closely with our culinary team cooking menu items for both the Pub and The Steak House restaurant.
The Role:
- Assisting our chefs on the line, creating menu items in a faced paced environment;
- Be able to work all aspects in the kitchen from fryers, to pans, grill, larder and pass;
- Work clean and organised, managing proper storage and rotation of ingredients, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to food and safety sanitation standards;
- Stay ahead of the pack with the latest industry trends and techniques;
- Full Time casual hours available for the right candidate;
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role (essential);
- Standout attention to detail and presentation skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while still managing to crack a smile;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Food Handlers Certificate;
