We're on the search for an exceptional Head Chef to join our team at our idyllic venue The Amberton overlooking the Indian Ocean!! 

What the role is about:

You will be tasked with leading & managing the kitchen team, as well as managing all aspects of the kitchen cost analysis, staff training & development and menu creation.

If you have a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, are hands on, approachable and able to work in a fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role with a strong focus on service 
• Strong culinary skills with a creative flair and a passion for innovation
• Have the ability to inspire a kitchen team through hands on and visible felt leadership
• Strength in menu design and costing
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of current food trends, dietary requirements and culinary techniques
• Contribute to a happy, safe and healthy working environment
• Food Safety Supervisor certification and compliance with health and safety regulations.
