C.Y. O’Connor Precinct , located in Piara Waters is a vibrant dining destination where you can come and experience unique culinary and service offerings all in one place . Our precinct features :
“The Steak House” True farm-to-table restaurant dining. Our team have produced a menu showcasing the best produce that Melaleuka Farm & Western Australia has to offer;
“Charlie’s Paddock” with a large playground and casual around seating;
“C.Y O’Connor Village Pub” with both casual and alfresco dining;
"Paperbark Burger Co" True farm-to-table smash pattie Burger Bar where we ‘WE FARM OUR OWN BEEF' at our farm in North Dandalup, W.A;
"Tilly's Garden " A unique, relaxed paradise with bespoke cocktails and an Asian-fusion inspired share style food menu.;
What the role is about
- Support the Head and Sous Chef in the day to day operation;
- Assist with menu development with a focus on seasonal produce;
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation ;
- Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure a smooth service;
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and compliance internally and with health regulations;
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients from suppliers;
- Able to work multiple sections and flexibility with hours;
Who are we looking for
- Proven experience in a similar role (essential);
- Standout attention to detail and presentation skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while still managing to crack a smile;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate
