We’re seeking a highly professional, compassionate, and results-driven individual with exceptional sales acumen to join our team as an Intake Consultant. In this role, you will guide potential clients through a high-value decision-making journey, offering personalised support while confidently navigating complex, high-stakes conversations.
This is a high-ticket sales role, where the average transaction value is a significant investment for our clients. You'll engage primarily with warm inbound leads—helping prospective clients understand the value of our programs and supporting them through a considered, often emotional decision. Success in this role requires consultative selling expertise, strong interpersonal instincts, and the ability to close premium service sales with confidence and care.
You'll also manage re-engagement of past clients and outbound follow-up of dormant leads in our extensive HubSpot CRM database, along with facilitating warm handovers to trusted partner facilities when appropriate.
The Opportunity
As an Intake Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
High-Ticket Sales & Client Engagement
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Conduct structured discovery calls to understand each prospective client’s needs, barriers, and motivators.
- Use high-ticket sales techniques (such as urgency creation, objection handling, and value positioning) to guide clients toward committing to our recovery programs.
- Accurately manage your pipeline in HubSpot, tracking interactions, sales stages, and outcomes.
- Re-engage past and dormant leads through strategic outbound campaigns and personalised follow-up.
- Facilitate warm referrals to trusted partners within our network where appropriate, ensuring positive brand experiences.
Team Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate closely with Clinical, Executive, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client handovers and alignment across the sales funnel.
- Participate in regular sales performance reviews, training, and development—enhancing both product knowledge and advanced sales capability.
- Represent The Banyans’ values of Care, Respect, and Joy, always upholding ethical and professional conduct.
About You
You are a confident, compassionate, and commercially minded professional with a proven track record in high-ticket consultative sales. Ideally, you bring:
- A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a high-value sales role, ideally in premium services.
- A demonstrated ability to close deals with a premium high-end product and price point.
- Mastery of sales fundamentals: needs-based selling, active listening, objection handling, rapport building, and closing.
- Confidence and professionalism in emotionally complex conversations, balancing empathy with commercial focus.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or similar and comfort working in a structured, metrics-driven sales environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and within a fast-paced team.
About the Benefits
You’ll be part of a purpose-led organisation offering best-in-class programs, beautiful working environments, and a strong sense of mission.
- Competitive base salary + incentive structure
- Wellbeing support: including annual wellbeing allowance, paid wellbeing leave, and generous parental leave
- Collaborative and professional team culture
- Ongoing sales coaching and development opportunities
