Join Us as an Intake Consultant – Guide Life-Changing Decisions with Compassion and Confidence

Rare opportunity for an emotionally intelligent professional who thrives on building trust and helping others make meaningful choices. The Banyans is looking for a confident, caring, and outcomes-driven Intake Consultant to support prospective clients through one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make.

This is a high-ticket sales role, where the average transaction value is a significant investment for our clients. You'll engage primarily with warm inbound leads—helping prospective clients understand the value of our programs and supporting them through a considered, often emotional decision. Success in this role requires consultative selling expertise, strong interpersonal instincts, and the ability to close premium service sales with confidence and care.

The Opportunity

Are you a confident communicator with a strong sense of empathy and a proven ability to guide high-value decisions? This is your chance to join a purpose-led team where you’ll make a tangible difference every day.

As an Intake Consultant, you’ll play a critical role as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking care. You’ll navigate emotionally complex conversations with care, professionalism, and commercial acumen—helping prospective clients understand the value of our life-changing programs and guiding them toward the right decision.

This is a high-touch, consultative role requiring the ability to close premium services with confidence and integrity. You’ll engage primarily with warm, inbound leads and maintain momentum through structured discovery, genuine rapport, and values-aligned sales techniques.

Your responsibilities will include:

High-Ticket Sales & Client Engagement

  • Respond promptly and compassionately to inbound enquiries via phone, email, and digital platforms.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand each client’s needs, barriers, and motivations.
  • Guide individuals and families through a complex decision-making journey using ethical, high-ticket sales strategies.
  • Accurately manage your pipeline in HubSpot—logging conversations, tracking progress, and forecasting outcomes.
  • Re-engage past and dormant leads through tailored outreach and strategic follow-up.
  • Facilitate warm referrals to trusted partner facilities when our programs aren’t the right fit, ensuring an exceptional brand experience at every touchpoint.

Team Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner with Clinical, Executive, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless transitions from enquiry to admission.
  • Participate in regular sales coaching, performance reviews, and professional development opportunities.
  • Embody The Banyans’ values of Care, Respect, and Joy in every interaction—with clients and colleagues alike.

About You

Our programs are residential-based, and the ideal person brings both professionalism and heart. You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A confident, compassionate communicator with a consultative sales approach.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a high-value sales role, ideally in premium services.
  • A demonstrated ability to close deals with a premium high-end product and price point.
  • Mastery of sales fundamentals: needs-based selling, active listening, objection handling, rapport building, and closing.
  • Confidence and professionalism in emotionally complex conversations, balancing empathy with commercial focus.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or similar and comfort working in a structured, metrics-driven sales environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and within a fast-paced team.

About the Benefits

Our values are Care, Respect, and Joy—and they guide everything we do.

You’ll be part of a purpose-led organisation offering best-in-class programs, beautiful working environments, and a strong sense of mission. We offer a unique blend of purpose and performance, where you can deliver exceptional service in stunning environments and with a highly engaged client base.

You will also enjoy:

  • Competitive base salary + incentive structure
  • Wellbeing support: including annual wellbeing allowance, paid wellbeing leave, and generous parental leave
  • Collaborative and professional team culture
  • Ongoing sales coaching and development opportunities
