Launching in 2024, The Alternative is a South Australian Program changing how people begin their careers.

  • Three placements.
  • Real experience.
  • Fast-moving industries.

Over 18-months, a pool of graduates will be connected with three paid industry placements, spending six months at each to thrive and make connections with leading SA industries, among fellow leaders.

About this Opportunity

  • Review, development and implement the Safety & Wellbeing and HR policies and initiatives in line with relevant legislation and organisational strategic plan
  • Lead WHS initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a culture of safety.
  • Champion the WHS audit function to support policy frame work and deliverable KPI metrics
  • Collaborate with leaders, executives and relevant stakeholders to support the management of workers' compensation and injury and RTW inline with applicable legislation
  • HR Generalist support duties, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding and advice
  • Undertake other projects that align with the HR function
