About the Role

The position holds is permanent part time with a total of 24 hours per week across three days, commencing Jan 2025.

The Admin Services Assistant is a key team member in driving a strong organisational culture within YMCA Victoria’s working environment at State Office. State Office is home to approximately 60 staff (full-time and part-time) on any given day. A core focus of this role is to provide day-to-day administrative assistance across the Executive Leaderships Team (ELT) and broader organisation.

The Admin Services Assistant works automatously under broad direction from the Facilities and Operations Manager in relation to office management requirements and practices and is able to apply their initiative in responding to requirements as they arise.

The rate for this role is  $31.24 plus super per Hour.

About You

The successful applicant will be able to positively deal with and manage change, think outside the box and be innovative. You will be able to prioritise resources, communicate goals, set clear targets and demonstrate personal accountability for performance. Other key requirements include

  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Well-developed written communication skills, including the ability to utilise appropriate grammar, spelling and lay-out
  • Creates a welcoming environment by engaging all people in a friendly and approachable manner
