About the Role
Reporting to the EM Procurement the Procurement Officer will provide administration support for purchasing, digital cards, Supplier maintenance and Internal catalogue maintenance for the business purchasing function. The role will also provide administrative support to sourcing/tendering activities and contract renewals, as well as identifying saving opportunities and monitoring compliance. Other responsibilities include:
- Monitor requisitions, purchasing orders, receipting and proper authorisation of spend and facilitate straight through invoice payment into Finance System and related resolution of OCR exceptions.
- Monitor and process credit notes, adjustments, PO withdrawals, PO cancellations as required.
- Monitor expense reports and proper authorisation of spend and facilitate straight-through expense payment into Payroll System and related resolution of exceptions.
- Provide administration assistance with procurements, tenders and evaluations as required.
- Administer Supplier key contacts, onboarding/off-boarding of Suppliers and Supplier maintenance as required.
- Provide information and reports to Finance for Month End reporting as required
We have a hybrid working model, between working from home and our State Office in Box Hill one to two days a week. This is a permanent full time role with a Rem package of $83,997 plus super.
About you
The ideal candidate will have three or more years in an administrative role in either Finance, Procurement or a related area. Other requirements include:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic contributor to a positive team environment
- Professional attitude and presentation
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Experience in using Medius Procurement Software is preferable.
