What's the opportunity?
As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of products within Telstra Health's EMEA’s portfolio and will be involved across each stage of the implementation lifecycle.
Through effective management of delivery timelines, resources, and technical and non-technical stakeholder expectations, the Delivery Manager drives efforts that directly contribute to improved care outcomes and a more integrated healthcare experience for the community.
This role will be required to work in our primary international locations in the EMEA region. The international opportunities may require the role to be based in these jurisdictions from time to time or for extended periods of time (up to two years). Frequent travel is likely to be necessary between geographies within the region, as required by customer and market activity.
About the role:
Focus on achieving key deliverables and projects across the GcC and EMEA region, the delivery manager will drive project outcomes:
- Delivery Methodology: Be an expert in implementation of appropriate delivery methodologies, e.g. agile, hybrid or waterfall practices, guiding the teams and ensuring delivery
- Responsibility for the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of assigned projects.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Manage project resource allocation via effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
- Manage the project within the defined budget.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Product Collaboration: Work with implementation teams to check viability of features, estimate and deliver on priorities for the products
- Delivery Leadership: Provide leadership to internal and external teams, assist teams as required with the delivery of products, and be the ‘go-to’ person any delivery issues. Ensure product delivery meets expectations and adheres to Telstra Health's delivery requirements
- Reporting: Manage operational reporting processes as defined (including engagement and people performance)
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers, evaluating their performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, service level agreements (SLAs) and other agreed metrics.
- Risk Management: Ensure risk management is in place and applied to the delivery of products
- Process Development: Contribute to the development of internal processes and delivery methods
About you:
- Relevant Bachelors/Undergraduate degree (e.g. Information Systems, Information Technology etc.)
- Capability in finance / accounting desirable
- Experience with Healthcare sector and hospital finance systems desirable.
- Experience leading large programs for delivery of technical outcomes
- Experience providing support for teams in excess of 20 staff
- Experience in managing outcomes and/or capabilities within large enterprise environments
- Two years’ + experience working with Software product organisations, managing delivery of SAAS software or similar products.
- Experience with project coordination activities including:
- Project planning
- Resourcing/scheduling
- Budgeting/forecasting
- Team/stakeholder engagement
