This BA role plays an important part in the delivery of a large program of working transitioning technology services between providers for a program that is of strategic importance to Telstra Health.

Help us shape a connected future for healthcare by:

  • Providing Business Analytics support to the transition, design and build of the technology for a national service
  • Gathering, documenting and prioritising business requirements – acting as a key liaison between the technology team and the service delivery team, to ensure that technology enables the delivery of high quality services 
  • Mapping and document workflows, and providing input into risk assessment and mitigation
  • Working with external vendors to stand up a POC
  • Working with other workstreams in the Transition Team to deliver:
  • Business Requirements Documents (functional/non-functional)
  • Use Cases
  • User Stories
  • Process flows
  • Wireframes and prototypes
  • User documentation
  • Release notes
  • Working with project teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of the project
  • Assisting with internal UAT in conjunction with the QA team
  • Handover project work and support the BAU service delivery teams as required

Required skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Ability to clearly document both functional and non-functional requirements including the ability to understand and facilitate the documentation of use cases and workflows is essential
  • Experience collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Exposure to an Agile software development environment is highly regarded
  • Some exposure to User Experience Design, User-Centred Design and User Interface Design
  • Exposure to the Healthcare industry is highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business related or technology discipline Highly regarded: Business Analyst certification (CBAP) Appropriate qualifications in Agile Methodology
