What’s the opportunity?
As a Salesforce Solution Architect in Telstra Health’s Architecture and Standards group you will apply your extensive knowledge of digital health solutions and the Salesforce Health cloud platform to develop innovative products and services that delight customers and exceed expectations.
About the role:
Designing and Implementing Health Solution Architecture
Developing and communicating a multi dimensional solution architecture to deliver against Telstra health’s business objectives, the Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for:
- Providing overall architecture leadership and direction to teams developing products and services utilising the Salesforce platform.
- Designing comprehensive and scalable Salesforce applications that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensuring that solutions are cost effective, make efficient use of cloud infrastructure, and can effectively scale to meet needs of large and small customer organisations across varied market segments.
- The development and implementation of innovative solutions aligned with Telstra Health strategy and vision.
- Engaging analytical problem solving skills to solve complex Salesforce integration challenges.
- Guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements from our diverse stakeholders.
Safety and Quality Assurance
In ensuring safe, usable and performant design, the Salesforce Solution Architect will:
- Ensure solutions are secure by design, enhance clinical safety and utility and are highly performant.
- Follows agreed standards and applies appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
- Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required. Reviews requirements for errors and omissions.
Communication and Teamwork
Contributing to innovative products and services that improve the digital health experience, the Salesforce Solution Architect will be required to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders, drawing on effective communication skills to translate complex technical knowledge into user friendly information and will:
- Work with our diverse and dedicated teams ranging from fellow Solution Architects to Engineers, User Experience Designers, Cyber Security, Clinicians, Project Managers and Product Managers to ensure solutions meet the needs and high standards expected of customers.
- Participate in cross functional collaboration with multi disciplinary teams.
- Lead functional and technical workshops to support Salesforce capability across teams.
About you:
Essential:
- 4+ years’ experience in solution architect or comparable architect role.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions with the Salesforce platform, including demonstrated experience designing sophisticated business processes and workflows using Salesforce platform features and integration technologies.
- Experience working in software engineering environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Apex, Lightning and Salesforce DX.
- Health and/or Health IT industry experience.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the healthcare industry preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor or higher level of computer science, software engineering, information technology or similar will be highly regarded.
Certifications: Relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.
Education: Other relevant architecture and relevant I.T. education or certifications such as TOGAF, CHIA highly regarded.
