As an active member of our global technology services practice, this is a hands-on role where you will be part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering exceptional transformational results for our clients, utilising your core development skills to code and deploy in Sitecore to support project and business outcomes.

- As you will be one of the first front-end developers in region, there is the opportunity to shape the role, define how it impacts and influences the wider practice, and support growth of the team.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement front-end solutions using Sitecore 10.4, Experience Manager, and Sitecore Content Editor
- Design and develop Sitecore templates and rendering components that align with the overall site architecture.
- Ensure all web content is compliant with relevant Australian and global standards for accessibility and usability including DDA and WCAG to ensure inclusivity for all users.
- Ensuring that applications function well across different browsers and devices.
- Ensuring web pages load quickly and efficiently by optimizing front-end assets.
- Ensure that all text, graphic elements, pages, tables, and other components adhere to the organization’s brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects and back-end developers to optimize user experience and deliver a seamless, engaging product.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues related to code defects and issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Incorporate Google Analytics (GA-4) for tracking user behavior, delivering insights that drive data-informed improvements.
- Create and document code, configurations, and procedures to maintain clear and up-to-date records.
- Optimize the website for SEO.
- Collaborate across teams to and be a key player within our DevOps delivery model, including active participation in agile ceremonies and other rituals and account processes where appropriate.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development and bring innovation and new thinking to the team.
- Contribute to development of our global technology services practice offerings and participate in pre-sales activity.
Who you are
Technical Capability
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with Sitecore, including proficiency in a variety of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Deep understanding of Sitecore’s architecture and components.
- Previous hands-on experience building solutions on Sitecore in a headless architecture (e.g. Sitecore, Contentful, Sanity) to deliver seamless content experiences.
- Familiarity with Sitecore features such as Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and Sitecore Javascript Services (JSS).
- Developed and maintained large scale web applications using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with variety of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Python) including API integration methods e.g. RESTful APIs, and open-source methods such as GraphQL
- Used a range of code repositories and version control systems (e.g. Bitbucket, GitHub, Gitlab)
- Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conducts code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
