We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of financial policies related to Shared Service Center activities.

As a member of the SSC GL and Financial Reporting team, this role will be a key liaison between our agency representatives and our internal team to enforce stringent financial protocols relative to the duties outlined below.

Shared Service Center employees are responsible for maintaining the control environment for all agency partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness for our accounting and reporting needs. The ideal candidate is expected to bring superior collaboration skills to the team and should be well versed in operating within an environment that prioritises compliance and control.

What you’ll do:

  • Mentor the Staff Accountants
  • Primary contact with Agency Finance teams
  • Approve journal entries with appropriate backup
  • Review & submit final P&L and Balance Sheet to Agency for approval
  • Promote Agency approved Revenue Flash, P&L and B/S in Hyperion Financial Management tool
  • Maintain Agency scoreboard with current close status
  • Review Hyperion Financial Management walk to Microsoft D365 trial balance to ensure there are no topside entries
  • Review and approve B/S reconciliation package
  • Promote all working capital schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool
  • Promote Internal Reporting Package schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool
  • Manage multiple agencies during close
  • Complete various report for the annual tax package
  • Other duties as needed


What you’ve got:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance highly regarded
  • CA / CPA qualifications highly regarded (or working towards this)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interest in learning and developing
  • Good interpersonal skills; solid experience in collaboration, flexibility and diplomacy
  • Good research and problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Confidence to ask for answers when you have questions
  • Deadline/goal oriented
  • Self-starter; ability to prioritise tasks with aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to understand business concepts and issues as well as technical systems processes
