We’re looking for a qualified Accountant or someone with significant financial experience (Snr Finance Officer) to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you'll work closely with the Corporate Services Manager and departments to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the continued success of our Health Service.
This is a permanent, full time position of 40 hours per week however we pride ourselves on being a flexible workplace and will consider part time (minimum 0.6 eft) working days/hours arrangement to meet your commitments outside of work.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed, small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a consumer-focused progressive provider of care to our community, patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.
Key Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or demonstrated Finance Industry experience for a minimum of 10 years.
- Broad knowledge of financial management systems and software.
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and report writing skills.
- Highly developed management communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience with developing financial reports.
- Knowledge or experience with Accounts Payable, Receivable and Fixed Asset management functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgement.
