About the role
An opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator to coordinate the learning and professional development of staff and students at Tallangatta Health Service.
Depending on your qualifications and experience we are looking for either a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) or Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) to become a critical member of the wider nursing team, providing professional development for Health Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses by ensuring that nursing and care practices are maintained and advanced.
This is a fixed term, parental leave coverage position from March 2025 - March 2026. Up to 4 days /32 hours per week are available however flexibility for less will be discuss with the right candidate.
About you
You are passionate about person centered-care and motivated to enhance the wellbeing of our consumers. You will also have;
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Post graduate qualification in Health or Education
- Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
- 5 years experience working in nursing with well-developed and contemporary clinical skills and knowledge.
- Advanced Life Support &/or First Line Emergency Care trained with current accreditation or willingness to undertake training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the THS Values of Integrity, Caring, Adaptability, Respect and Excellence.
